"Bats les cuilles.’ The French way of saying ‘who cares?’ (well, roughly). We‘ve adopted this philosophy turned it into a way of life. BLK is all about diving in, taking chances, and emancipating yourself from a life of fear. Want to try something new? Do it. See someone you like? Go say hi. Stuck in a job you hate? Quit and do what you love. ‘Bats les cuilles’ is the philosophy of just going for it!! No overthinking and no regrets. Since we met, we’ve been living by this mantra, pushing each other to take risks and soaking in every moment as if it’s our last. Honestly, life’s a lot more fun when you stop overthinking and just… go for it.

living by our mantra has led us on a wild ride, which climaxed in Morocco. We fell head over heels for the people, the surf, the stunning landscapes, and the endless opportunities this incredible country has to offer. As we indulged ourselves in one of our moroccan favs, the markets something caught our eye: racks on racks of high-quality clothes, just sitting there, unloved and overlooked. The moroccan markets gave birth to our first project: reworking leather jackets.

Our vision is simple but bold: to take a stand against the fast fashion madness that’s been flooding our world for years. We want to prove that clothes can be timeless and new isn’t always better. It’s about giving these hidden gems the love they deserve and showing the world there’s beauty and value in things that already exist. Who needs fast fashion when slow, thoughtful style is so much cooler?
